  • Each author makes a significant contribution to the conception, design, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of data.
  • Drafting the manuscript or providing critical revisions vital for intellectual content.
  • Final approval of the manuscript by all authors and future contribution to revisions if needed.
Each author should have participated sufficiently to take public responsibility for appropriate portions of the content. Listing someone as an author without significant contribution is considered a breach of appropriate authorship.
