I have participated in CBER conferences—both in the UK and USA—for more than a decade and always come back for more!  The breadth of coverage in economics and the various business disciplines is a singular attraction.  The quality of research presentations rivals that of much larger academic societies.  The camaraderie, with exceptional international diversity, is a pleasant change from the sometimes sterile atmosphere of many discipline-based conferences.  And, the smooth administration of the meetings is a plus.  I can recommend all the CBER meetings for both young and seasoned academicians.

I would like to formally express that attending the 13th International Conference on the Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE) 2024 at the University of Oxford, 6-7^th August 2024 has been a significant milestone in my academic and professional journey. As an army veteran and an independent researcher in sustainable development, I am deeply grateful to Dr. P. R. Datta for providing me with this esteemed platform to present my paper and interact with distinguished professors and researchers from eminent universities/ institutions across the world. I was particularly impressed by the insightful perspectives shared by several notable scholars. Professor David J. Graves from the UK highlighted the urgent need for reform of law enforcement agencies. Ms. Manjeet of the University of Bolton, UK, delivered an enlightening presentation on the impact of the human energy crisis on employee 's performance in India’s IT sector. Ms. Faria Hassan Muhamed from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan, explored the asymmetric impact of oil prices on inflation rates in Somalia. Last but not the least, Professor Vibhav Mishra of SOAS University of London provided a compelling discussion on equity in financing energy development to mitigate the effects of climate change on human health.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. P. R. Datta and his team for their rigorous evaluation and approval of my paper, allowing me to participate in this prestigious session in person. As an independent researcher dedicated to the concept of sustainable development, this experience has profoundly invigorated my commitment to advancing this critical field with renewed enthusiasm.

Colonel Prithvi Ranjan Das (Retd)
Colonel Prithvi Ranjan Das(Retd) is a graduate in science (B.Sc.)from the University of Calcutta. He was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery (Indian Army) and served the nation in various capacity  in staff, command and instructional assignments. He retired as a Colonel with 32 years of unblemished  record of service. While in service he completed his masters in Sustainable Development from Sikkim Manipal University. He also participated in the General Management programme for Army Officers at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)  Kozhikode. Presently he is a dedicated independent researcher of Sustainable Development and part of think tank of United Service Institution (USI), New Delhi. He is also a defence and security analyst with a leading media house in Kolkata.

Very enlightening and informative conference with added value to a big cluster of knowledge from a multi diversity crowd of speakers. I want to thank all members of CBER for organising such a great event encompassing a trend of linking industry to academia. The venue in Oxford city reflected the Gothic history that added to the success of the event.

Thank you for your invitation to deliver the keynote address to the 9th International Conference on the Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE), on the opening morning -- at Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK. The audience was very engaged and receptive. The attendees were most complimentary after the talk. All in all, this was a great experience. The Conference was very well organized, and it was a great honor to address academic representatives from 30 different countries. It was a very rich tapestry of academic talent present.

Separately, I also enjoyed the opportunity to chair the session on Marketing. Many of the papers demonstrated great potential.

I was glad to learn variety of managerial concepts and professional papers presented by my fellow colleagues at the conference which gave useful insights on the new trends in global education and its relation to business and management. Many diverse questions raised by the audience made me go in depth of the subject to understand it better. I would like to thank you and all your team members for everything and hope to see you soon in similar events.  International conferences have a huge impact on individual and collaborative research. Conferences help students to carefully analyse a subject by probing relevant information.  I believe such academic participations help scholars and researchers grow scholarly. 

It was really one of the most memorable moments in my life to present paper at the 9th International Conference on ROGE- 2019 at Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK. Thanks for providing this opportunity. The papers presented were outstanding and intellectual depth.

It was both a pleasure and a privilege to represent Medgar Evers College (City University of New York) at the recent London conference convened by the Centre for Business & Economic Research. The opportunity to interact with scholars and academicians from around the world in a context that encouraged and facilitated creative thinking and thoughtful analysis was invaluable. The exchange of perspectives in the spirit of collegiality and useful inquiry was refreshing and I am certainly looking forward to continue to participate in ABRM programs in the future.

It was a real pleasure to meet you at the 2011 London ITARC conference. At ITARC I met colleagues whom I would not necessarily have met elsewhere. I was impressed by the warm reception and collegial atmosphere amongst the participants. Credit goes to the organizers of an event that I felt was generally perceived as being useful and productive.

We certainly enjoyed our time in Istanbul - both at the conference sessions and outside the conference sessions. We also got some new valuable contacts and look forward to attending your conferences in the future

The conference lived up to the first word in its title – International. Attendees included those from the largest economies, smallest island economies, transitioning economies, and sanction-plagued economies. The was a wonderful mix of economists and business disciplines. The conference also drew observers, not present to present research but to learn, from distant parts of the world. These observers present to establish international contacts and learn about the latest trends in Business and Economic Development made a wonderful contribution in their questions and insights. In total, it was a healthy exchange of ideas, research, and viewpoints.
