Dr. Bonya Chakraborty is the Project Director of the Centre for Business & Economic Research (CBER), London, UK. She has over 10 years of experience in academic teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the private Higher and Further Education sector in the UK, along with more than 10 years of experience in senior administrative roles.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, Moscow, Russia; two postgraduate diplomas from the UK; an MBA in Marketing from the University of Sunderland, UK; and a DBA from Breyer State University, USA.

Her research spans domains such as word-of-mouth marketing, viral marketing, and relationship marketing, with a particular focus on themes of bond, commitment, trust, benevolence, and compassion. One of her publications, Viral Marketing: New Form of Word-of-Mouth Marketing through Internet, has received 146 citations on Google Scholar to date.
She also takes an active interest in the dynamics of social networks and provides CBER with valuable insights into engagement, positive interaction, and the role of an organisation’s and individuals’ online footprints. Dr. Chakraborty is passionate about the value of international academic conferences as a mechanism for knowledge sharing and fostering greater understanding.
